Below is an email we received from Jeannine Walter, proud owner of A Daily Suzy Q.

"I went to Fairmount Park last August to buy another horse. I made eight appointments and looked at eight horses. Suzy was the last horse I looked at and, luckily, it seemed a good match from the beginning.

I gave her some time off to get used to being a non-racehorse. I started retraining her as my new event horse this spring. Turns out she loves eventing. I took her to Missouri Wine Country. It was her very first event. She was level headed and well-behaved. We ended up in 6th place in Beginner Novice with a clean stadium round and clean cross-country.

I then took her to Hill 'n Hound in Kane, IL. Again we had a clean cross country and clean stadium and moved all the way up to 3rd place! Not bad for an off the track TB! She's a great horse and I couldn't be more pleased with her."

Update! 1/20/04 Suzy was named 2003 Novice Event Horse of the Year for St Louis Area Dressage Society (SLADS). Yeah Suzy!!
