She's A Bride

Below is an email we received from Mindi Basi, proud owner of She's A Bride:

"I purchased She's A Bride from Delmar Storzum at Fairmont Racetrack near Saint Louis last year.  She bowed her tendon the first time she was raced, and was retired after that.  I purchased her as a broodmare prospect for warmblood breeding. 

She has an incredible way of going and I was told by warmblood breeders that she was definitely the type they like to see in a TB mare for warmblood crosses. 

I sent her to a dressage trainer for 30 days to be started under saddle last spring, and she did wonderfully and has a natural ability for collection and lateral work. 

I bred her successfully to a Trakehner stallion for an April foal, and we can't wait to see the baby!  She is sound on her bow and I hope to start her over fences in the fall of 2003. 

She has an excellent attitude for work and is just a very nice mare.  I would never have found her had it not been for the CANTER website!
