Miratough  ("Remy") is a four year old gray gelding currently in foster care in Harvard, IL. He's about 15.2. Remy came to CANTER with a big knee...it has since gone down and Remy is working sound at walk, trot, and canter. Due to the old injury, he is not recommended for use as a jumper but will make a lovely hunter, trail, or dressage horse. His foster mom is a natural hoof trimming practitioner, so he's got great feet and hasn't needed shoes. Trailers well and is quiet on the ground and under saddle. He's already been to his first horse show and performed like a veteran. Poppy's Dotty is a coming 4 year old filly recovering from a sesamoid overextension injury (not a fracture). She should heal sound for flatwork and trail riding. Poppy is about 15 hands, bay, with a white blaze the shape of Africa and a snip on her nose. She's got ultra-smooth gaits and is quiet and well-mannered both on the ground and under saddle. A Storm Cat granddaughter, she's got a blue-blooded pedigree. Her trainer insists this special girl goes to a great home. Solo Concerto is an elegant, classy, kind bay colt, standing about 16.2 hh.  He is stunning and such a gentleman.  Was not gelded due to his womderful disposition.  A 14 year old girl leads him around without a chain when he has been at the farm during down time from the track.  Currently he is recovering from a small fracture in his left front shin.  Should come back completely sound for most disciplines.  He is ready to go on small paddock turnout now.  This boy will be well worth someone's time.  He was an absolute loverboy with our volunteers. She Shore Is is a darling 6 year old, Bay mare, standing about 16hh.  She is a terrific find, as she already has some off track training!  Her owners fell onto hard times and she was returned to her race trainer to find a new home.  She's already been schooling at the walk, trot and canter, as well as over small courses of fences.  She is cute as a bug!  She will require a more experienced rider to complete her training.  She is a sweet girl, just energetic and still learning her new job.  Asking $2,000, negotiable to a great home.  Stabled at Arlington.  Call Liane Davis at 630-258-8144.

Apple Moon Pie - 4 year old, 16.1 hh, dark bay mare.  This very classy mare is beginning to wind down her race career, so trainer is seeking a new home.  Classically bred granddaughter of Pleasant Colony.
