Congratulations Maaike!

Beautiful 17h, 7yr seal brown gelding, Kentucky bred. Athletic, sane 20XX gelding in professional hunter jumper training. Gone West has three comfortable, ground-covering, rhythmic gaits and excellent rideability. He softens easily to his rider and has a very willing temperament. Gone West has flying lead changes and is just learning to jump small cross rails. He is showing amazing form over fences. Gone West would be absolutely perfect for an adult amateur rider  or junior. His  agreeable temperament makes him a joy to train and ride.

West is a volunteer favorite. Gone West had only two starts on the track. He had a coffin bone fracture on his left hind in 2009, but he has not experienced an issue since it healed. He is sound and should not have any further issues from this incident, however the vet feels that just to be safe, his jumping should be limited to 3ft. But won't he look nice over those 3 foot jumps! :)
