The Best of Ohio consists of four state-run races that showcase the best thoroughbreds the state of Ohio has to offer. These races are worth $75,000-$100,000.

Nov. 6 National Breeders’ Cup

Fans can enjoy prize drawings all afternoon plus some special instant ticket giveaways from the Ohio Lottery. WMJI and Chip Kullik will also be on site with the Majic Money Wheels and prizes.

In order to better provide for the needs of our horses, we are moving them back and forth between Ohio and Michigan. We need transporters who can make ongoing trips between Kirtland, Ohio and Michigan State University in East Lansing and Imlay City, Michigan. There will also be trips from Beulah Park or the Columbus area to Kirtland or East Lansing or Imlay City.

CANTER Ohio now has seven horses located in Kirtland.  We need volunteers to help with stalls, grooming and turnout.  Experience with horses is helpful but not necessary.
