"Slewie's" sire, ORIENTATE, is a Multiple Graded Stakes Winner and winner of the Breeders' Cup Sprint; his damsire is SLEW O' GOLD, a multi-millionaire and two-time winner of the prestigious Grade 1 Woodward Stakes and Jockey Club Gold Cup.  Slewie had a respectable career himself, earning over $120,000 in 33 starts. PA-T2528-02 Sewalter, 2011 bay gelding, 15.3 hands.  Having been with his trainer since he was only 6 months old, you'll have lots of history available to you for this boy.  In fact, Walter's trainer backed him and tells us he's a "fearless" guy with lots of athleticism and potential.  Walter started light race training about 3 months ago, but was recently diagnosed with an OCD on his hock.  Instead of surgery, his trainer has opted to let him transition to a new career.  He's sound on the hock, but he does have some swelling at the site of the lesion.  The prognosis for young horses with this condition is usually quite positive.  Surgery for OCD is often very successful, resulting in virtually no limitations for the horse whatsoever, or he will likely be suitable as a light-riding, pleasure-type mount without surgery.   Walter has lots of potential either way, as it will be up to his new owner to put his or her own final personal touches on his training.  A balanced and well-proportioned gelding, we suspect Walter may have an inch or two left to grow, and he's solid enough to suit riders of a variety of sizes and builds.  A sensible and friendly boy, this is a great chance to own a young prospect that you can finish your way!  $1000.  George Stanton 717-507-3986. PA-T2498-01 No Passage, 2006 liver chestnut gelding, 16.1 hands.  A good egg!  The wind was whipping and howling the day we did our listings.  We saw horses bouncing off the walls, cantering circles around their hanlders and practicing impressive Airs Above the Ground, but for No Passage, it was just another day.  He stood like a statute for his photo shoot and acted with complete professionalism and respect for his trainer, who, by the way, was hobbling around on a broken foot!  As his main exercise rider, his trainer tells us this guy is solid under saddle, both on the track and at the farm.  They've even gone over a few jumps together, and No Passage never even blinked.  This guy does have an old popped splint on his right front, but it's never caused him any problems; he also has a slight breathing issue at race speeds only.  Neither should affect him in a new career, though, and his trainer assures us he's sound.  He jogged evenly for us with a light, relaxed stride that would look great in the Hunter ring, which we think would match his laid-back personality quite well!  $2499, negotiable.  Michael Hallmark 717-315-7973 or mvhallmark@gmail.com.  (Grantville, PA)
