Success Stories

If you have a Michigan Success Story, e-mail it to us. Please, do not send professional photographs unless it includes a signed release from the photographer indicating it can be scanned and used online. When mailing, please include a letter stating that you give your permission to have your photograph used online. If the rider is not yourself, please have the rider or guardian sign your letter as well to indicate permission. Photos will not be returned.

CANTER Needs Your Help!

CANTER exists solely on donations. CANTER is an all Volunteer organization, so EVERY dollar donated goes to help the thoroughbreds. CANTER Michigan, alone, has taken in over 100 horses in 2007 and dozens more will be coming our way as the racing season ends. Many of these new horses need immediate surgery, foot care, vaccinations, and lots of food.

CANTER Michigan is the ONLY equine rescue to accept ANY thoroughbred off the track, regardless of medical condition. We have never said “NO”… and don’t want to start now.
