A heartfelt thank you goes out from CANTER to Horsescape Farms in Williamston, Michigan for their generous donation to CANTER as a result of the Hunter Pace they held in September 2003 for CANTER’s sole benefit. The weather contributed to a beautiful and fun day for riders and volunteers alike.

CANTER Needs Your Help!

CANTER exists solely on donations. CANTER is an all Volunteer organization, so EVERY dollar donated goes to help the thoroughbreds. CANTER Michigan, alone, has taken in over 100 horses in 2007 and dozens more will be coming our way as the racing season ends. Many of these new horses need immediate surgery, foot care, vaccinations, and lots of food.

CANTER Michigan is the ONLY equine rescue to accept ANY thoroughbred off the track, regardless of medical condition. We have never said “NO”… and don’t want to start now.
