MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SUNDAY, MAY 18, 2008:
CANTER NE Benefit Pace at King Oak Farm!
 CANTER
NE is happy to announce that our spring hunter pace will be held for the
first time ever at King
Oak Farm on Sunday, May 18th, 2008!
Take
a virtual tour of the King Oak course
This spring's hunter pace is especially exciting because of its new venue.
Located in Southampton, MA, King Oak Farm is widely known for its annual
spring and fall horse trials. Participants in the hunter pace will
have the opportunity to take advantage of King Oak's extensive cross country
courses and trails on more than 180 acres of farm and woods. This is an
excellent opportunity to ride the same USEA/USEF registered courses and
jumps as participants in the Spring Horse Trials the weekend before!
All pace proceeds will benefit CANTER New England's placement and adoption
efforts, which have helped over 1,500 retiring Thoroughbred racehorses since
2002. In 2007, CANTER saw a substantial increase in the number of
injured horses entering our adoption program, resulting in a doubling of our
veterinary bills. Ride, have fun, and support the horses!
