Linear Lane
About a year ago I received an email from a young breeder in GA about a Ohio Canter adopted TB mare named Linear Lane she had purchase a few months back. The breeder was unable to keep the mare and was looking for a permanent home for the horse. We were looking for a top quality TB mare to produce elegant, athletic and intelligent dressage horses for us, as we have had alot of success by crossing those types of mares with Warmblood stallions, so Linear Lane became part of our family.
Last weekend, at her first ever in-hand Warmblood breedshow in Lexington, VA Linear Lane received a whopping 74.15 % from judge Dinah Babcock, TX, placing third and missing the call back into the Warmblood Broodmare Championship class by a mere .35 %. All other horses in the class were either US bred Warmbloods or imported Warmbloods.
Linear Lane is confirmed in foal to the Warmblood stallion Regulus, the sire of my current top dressage horses Raison d'Etre (winner of numerous FEI Young Horse Awards) and Raison de Joie (USDF 3 year old Horse of the Year) and I have no doubt, that she will produce a foal, which will be as competitive as his siblings - both of them have TB dams.
I have included a picture of Linear Lane - thank you for the work you are doing with these incredible horses!
Sincerely,
