Email from Cari Herndon, August 6, 2007 : I was so pleased to meet all the Ohio CANTER volunteers at the New Vocations Charity Horse Show this past weekend, and even more pleased that Chris recognized Zoolander! His registered name, Comprado, did not suit him, so when I bought him it was the first thing to change. It took me four months to find the perfect horse and CANTER was a major factor in finding him.

Zoolander has been a blessing in my life. He has thrown me some challenges, but we have learned from each and every one of them. He has been off the track for six months and we are already competing and winning. We are now getting ready to start jumping. People are always asking me “He’s off the track? Isn’t he crazy?” and I’m always proud to tell them how wonderful he is to work with and how sane he is.

I look forward to continue competing Zoolander to the best of his potential and owning many more thoroughbreds in the future. Thank you to everyone at CANTER, you are doing amazing work bringing riders and horses together.
