CANTER PA horse listings

******IMPORTANT******

CANTER does NOT guarantee the condition of any horse at any time. As with ANY equine acquisition, we urge you to have a veterinarian perform an exam before you acquire a horse and to exercise caution when considering any horse listed.

The representations and descriptions in the Horse Listing section are provided to us by the owner, trainer, or breeder listing the horse. We have NOT verified all claims therein.

If you are unfamiliar with the ins and outs of trying to by a thoroughbred off the track we urge you to visit the FAQs section of our website.

******IMPORTANT******

PLEASE NOTE:
CANTER does NOT set the prices of horses. CANTER does NOT charge fees or take commission on the horses. CANTER is entirely staffed and run by volunteers and we have no financial ties to sellers. CANTER does NOT negotiate the acquisition or act as brokers. PLEASE CONFIRM your appointment the day before or the morning of the appointment! NOT ALL TRAINERS ARE GOOD ABOUT CALLING TO SAY "SORRY, HORSE NO LONGER AVAILABLE"...YOU MIGHT SAVE A WASTED TRIP!

PLEASE remember "no shows" hurt the credibility of the program with the trainers and makes them less likely to list horses with us. If something comes up or you change your mind, or if you find another horse - PLEASE take a moment to call the trainer that you've made an appointment with and tell them you won't be coming! It only takes a minute, and it very much helps the horses by extending courtesy to the trainers working with CANTER.
Thank you.

A favorite of the farm owner, he'll be your favorite, too! If you want a WB looking TB for the show ring or a horse with the substance for a field hunter, Jack is your guy. He's a very correct, straight mover. And like many of the other youngsters on this site, no issues - just too slow for the new levels at the track. So he needs to go now! $2,499. NEW! PA-T1204-04 Buck's Wind, bay gelding, 15.3+++ hands, 4 years old. WOW! Take a look at the conformation on this guy! What a topline - his build just shouts - RIDE ME! He looks like he's a really great ride; someone is going to have an awful lot of fun reschooling him. He's got a good mind and nothing seems to phase him. He very recently chipped the right rear sesamoid - in his stall somehow, not on the track! He is walking sound. He's a bit off at the jog, but despite that he is a very nice mover. A future superstar - he will be well worth the time he needs to heal. $500/offers considered. Lydee Shea 717-514-4649. (Photo) (Photo)
