CANTER OWNED MARE - 8 year old dark bay mare. 16 hands. MISSPERSIMMON HILL. She's baaacck! MISSPERSIMMON HILL aka "Lady" was adopted out but turned out to be a little too much horse for her adopters. She is a typical straight-off-the-track gal, who needs some retraining under saddle. She is very loving and sweet, loves treats, attention and grooming (loves to be the center of attention as a matter of fact). Lady needs a home that is capable of dealing with a herdbound horse. She does best in a pasture situation mentally, however needs to be regularly separated from her group for work to show her darling and willing personality away from her herd. She also has issues with being trailered - she loads just fine, but she will kick violently if not heavily sedated, so a home nearby to her current location (Edwardsville, IL) and one that does not plan on trailering her often is best. This talented and beautiful gal needs someone who understands her special needs and insecurities.
