an online source for lovers of exracehorses and an ongoing CANTER
supporter. The website features articles, photos of exracers in new
homes, a catalog of website links of like interest and most prominently,
an interactive community forum message board. The message board has
over 900 active members who decided to scrape together their dollars
in 2004 and sponsor the purchase and care of a CANTER owned horse
from the 2004 Paddock Sale at Fairmount Park. Showing that every little
bit really does make a difference, with donations from $5 and up,
this unique community pooled enough funds for the purchase and rehab
of UNCLE
JOE'S DREAM, (click here) aka "Joey". The interactive forum
is also a hub for getting the word out for horses that might be at
immediate risk, or just showing off some of their favorite CANTER
listings. They have proven time and time again they can pull together
when it comes to any OTTB in need, with countless success stories
of their own. CANTER Southern Illinois finds their support invaluable
