CANTER Southern Illinois would like to thank the I.T.B.O.F. for their graciousness and generosity as a CANTER Southern Illinois financial supporter. The I.T.B.O.F. should be highly praised for their support, as we consider them to be "taking care of their own" with their annual financial gifts to our Illinois based organization that caters to the welfare & future of Illinois bred thoroughbreds. Their support has been crucial to the welfare of CANTER Southern Illinois.

ABOUT THE I.T.B.O.F. The Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Foundation is a not-for-profit service corporation representing Illinois breeders and owners and dedicated to the growth and development of the Illinois state-bred incentive program for Thoroughbreds. They work with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Governor's Office and State Legislators, as well as other groups in support of the horse industry. 

The I.T.B.O.F. provides a marketplace for the purchase and sale of Thoroughbred horses. By law, they verify and distribute Breeders Awards earned at racetracks throughout the State. They provide access to programs providing printouts on pedigrees, performance, progeny, etc. I.T.B.O.F. Members enjoy reduce rates on pedigree services.  Access to The Jockey Club programs to name horses, file Live Foal/No Foal Reports and Reports of Mares Bred is also provided. The I.T.B.O.F. regularly presents free Seminars on "Owning a Thoroughbred". Members also receive a monthly copy of the Illinois Racing News as well as the Annual Stallion Registry.
