We need you!
CANTER Delaware exists solely on donations and volunteers. Every dollar and hour donated goes toward the exclusive benefit of Delaware Park horses transitioning into great homes after their racing careers are over. CANTER Delaware is a listing service only, meaning we do not intake horses from Delaware Park. As such, volunteer opportunities exist solely around website maintenance, liaising with the racing trainers, and marketing and promoting horses for sale on behalf of their owners. Feel free to contact us if this sounds like volunteer work you would enjoy. We do not have any hands on with horses or riding opportunities.

About Us
The Communication Alliance to Network Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorses (CANTER) has been partnering with Delaware Park since 2009, helping hundreds of horses find new homes. In 2016, Delaware Park added Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue as a donation component to compliment CANTER's listing service. CANTER serves as a listing service to showcase all horses for sale directly from trainers at Delaware Park. For those interested in purchasing Delaware Park alumni with a little let down/retraining, Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue takes in, lets down, retrains, and adopts Thoroughbreds, including many from Delaware Park. At Delaware Park, CANTER, Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue, and Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association all contribute to a FB page to showcase Delaware Park Horses. Links below.
