Grey's the Boy "Grey" is a striking and elegant 2019 dark bay gelding with an easy-going personality who will make a great prospect for an experienced adopter/or professional trainer. Grey is a levelheaded boy, and his calm nature makes him a great prospect for many disciplines, including dressage, hunter/jumper or eventing.  Grey is currently schooling at walk/trot under-saddle. He has been ridden both in a snaffle and bitless and enjoys going bitless.   He has been ridden English but could go in any direction with the proper training and maintenance. Grey is well behaved on the ground and stands well in the cross ties for grooming and tacking, the vet and farrier. He is easy to lead to and from the pasture and will come to you when it's time for turnout. Grey is turned out with one other gelding, is kind to his pasture mate and likes to play. He has no stable vices and currently is not on any supplements or special feed. He is shod in the front but has nice feet and could potentially go barefoot depending on his future discipline. Grey sold for $35K at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale 2020. He had 13 starts with a record of 2-0-1, earning $131,334 in his racing career. Grey's last race was at Turfway Park on December 30, 2023. Grey has been completely rehabbed from a left front tendon injury and is ready for a new career.

While our OTTBs may receive some post-race training, all are offered as green prospects and will require an adopter who has experience with retraining off-track Thoroughbreds and/or will be working under the guidance of an experienced professional trainer.
