Spectacular Luck "Chance" is a KY-bred 2021 chestnut gelding by Lookin At Lucky out of Paixao by Scat Daddy. This handsome boy is a completely fresh start and is looking for the right person to bring him along as a prospect for any discipline. He has a puppy dog personality and would follow you around all day if he could!

On the ground - He is good to handle on the ground, stands well for grooming, and can be led to and from the field with ease.

In the pasture/stable - Currently doing well on solo turnout.

Under saddle - He has not yet been started under saddle but is sound at the walk, trot, and canter and is ready for a fresh start! Chance is eligible for the 2027 Retired Racehorse Project.

Background and physical capability - Chance earned $28,499 with 25 starts and a race record of 1-2-3. His last race was at Presque Isle Downs on 9/30/2025. He retired from racing due to a stress fracture in his left front cannon bone, which has since been completely rehabbed.

Care - He goes barefoot and requires no special care or maintenance.

Any medical records and pertinent history are available to interested and approved adopters. CANTER Michigan always recommends a PPE.

While our OTTBs receive some post-race training, all are offered as green prospects and will require an adopter who has experience with retraining off-track Thoroughbreds and/or will be working under the guidance of an experienced professional trainer.
