Roll On Max "Max" is a "try hard" guy who is ready for his new career and home. Max will do well with an experienced adopter who can continue his training in any discipline.
On the ground - Max is an all-around good guy! Max stands still to be groomed and tacked in cross ties and is great for the vet and farrier.
In the pasture/stable - Max goes out with 3 other geldings at night where he falls at the bottom of the pecking order. Max enjoys playing with his pasture mates and knows his boundaries. He does best with other easy-going geldings. Max is content in his stall during the day where he has shown no vices.
Under saddle - Max confidently rides at the walk, trot, and canter. As with any 4-year-old horse learning a new career, Max is building muscle and will do best with an advanced rider who can continue his training in any discipline.
Background and care - Max has completely rehabbed from bone chip surgery in his left knee and has no known limitations. Max currently wears front shoes and is in a feeding program appropriate for a growing young Thoroughbred in training. Max has a great appetite and is really filling out.
Any medical records and pertinent history are available to interested and approved adopters. CANTER Michigan always recommends a PPE.
