Union Train "Choo-choo" is a head-turning bay gelding who is a promising prospect for a lower impact and exertion career. We think he could excel as a pleasure horse and could advance even further in the right program. Choo-choo is currently doing well training at walk, trot and canter. Choo-choo is a good boy who is well-behaved for all activities with no stable vices. Choo-choo goes out with two other geldings and is in the middle of the pecking order with like-minded horses. He is an easy keeper requiring no special feed at his current level of work. He has been completely rehabbed from a soft tissue injury and does best with front shoes. Choo-choo prefers traveling in a trailer where he can turn to exit.
Any medical records and pertinent history are available to interested and approved adopters. CANTER Michigan always recommends a PPE.
While our OTTBs receive some post-race training, all are offered as green prospects and will require an adopter who has experience with retraining off-track Thoroughbreds and/or will be working under the guidance of an experienced professional trainer.
Adoption Information
