CANTER USA is the recipient of this year’s Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) Industry Service Award, a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding work and success in helping Thoroughbreds.

CANTER has transitioned more than 22,000 non-competitive and injured thoroughbreds into new careers and new homes since its inception in 1998.
CANTER USA now has 13 affiliates across the United States working with Thoroughbred racetracks, Thoroughbred racing owners, and trainers, to transition thoroughbreds ready to retire from racing.
CANTER is an all volunteer 501c3 organization with no paid staff. Equine Industry and Business professionals donate their time and expertise to provide Thoroughbreds with second career options and after care once their racing careers have ended.
CANTER USA received the TCA Industry Service Award during the 25th Annual TCA Stallion Auction in Lexington on Saturday, January 10, 2015.

Accepting the award was CANTER USA Secretary and Executive Director of CANTER Colorado, Jamie Girouard; CANTER USA Board member and Executive Director of CANTER Ohio, Pam Cleverly, and CANTER USA Board Member and Executive Director of CANTER Kentucky, Amanda Graham.
