ToFastForTarget, aka Jeffrey, came to CANTER Michigan through CANTER Illinois. He was injured while racing and underwent surgery at Michigan State University. After several months of rehabilitation at Hamilton Ridge Farm, which also included learning how to be turned out and eat grass, Jeffrey began his retraining in February 2014 with CANTER Trainer Caitlin Ilich of Essential Equestrian, LLC. While attending an expo at Michigan State, Jeffrey’s future adopter, Ellen, saw his picture at the CANTER booth, and it was love at first sight! She later met Jeffrey in person and the rest is history. Though his injuries were significant, the talented surgical team and excellent rehab care have resulted in a horse that is happy and thriving in his new career as a dressage horse. He also enjoys learning the Parelli games and attended a clinic with Ellen last fall.
